Ask HN: Post-Mortem for "Who wants to be hired"

I wanted to get some feedback form those of you that saw the "Who wants to be hired" thread [1] posted last Friday. While dang mentioned [2] that he didn't feel this should be set up as a recurring whoishiring sponsored thread, I wanted to see if there would be some value in someone setting this up on a semi-recurring basis (every few months, once a year, etc.), and to discuss some of the concerns he and others had on that thread.
