Rights go beyond laws my friend.
Rights go beyond laws my friend. You see for example, I have the right to endlessly create accounts and flood this site with LLM spam, if I wanted to. Nothing illegal about training a model to post comments online is there? You see… when it comes to rights and impinging on the rights of others… it becomes rather easy to make enemies of people you really don’t want to be enemies with. Hacker News can either delete my comments (not just anonymize the username) and then delete my account or I have the right to become a very very annoying problem for them. Rights are inalienable like that.
