Migration to Swift Package Manager due to Google Maps SDK deprecation of CocoaPods
### Summary Hey there! I just got an email from Google saying they’ll stop supporting CocoaPods for their iOS SDKs after Q2 2026, and will focus on Swift Package Manager (SPM) instead. Since react-native-maps uses CocoaPods for iOS, I wanted to check in on plans for migrating to SPM. Are there any plans for adding SPM support or maybe a guide for the migration? I’m hoping we can stay up-to-date with Google Maps SDKs after CocoaPods is phased out. Thanks! ### Reproducible sample code ```TSX No Code Needed ``` ### Steps to reproduce No Steps Needed ### Expected result . ### Actual result . ### React Native Maps Version * ### What platforms are you seeing the problem on? iOS (Apple Maps), iOS (Google Maps) ### React Native Version * ### What version of Expo are you using? Not using Expo ### Device(s) * ### Additional information _No response_
